It’s a fact that I have a short attention span. Here one second, and gone the next.
Since I know this, I set little goals for myself, instead of big ones. Big dreams, little goals to get there. We have so much potential locked up inside of ourselves. No, seriously. You too. It’s so easy to get distracted, start looking at Facebook or Snapchat and then realize that you’ve done nothing in the past thirty minutes, admit it!
If it makes you feel any better, it happens to me too. All the time.
The way around that is discipline and to just focus, man. Set small goals for yourself.
- Wake up at 5AM everyday. (if that means you have to go to sleep early and can’t catch your favorite show because you need that rest, so what? Record it for later. You got goals to reach.)
- Be dressed and ready to go by 6AM.
- Work on your goals until it’s time to leave the house and go to work.
Hey, I never said it was going to be easy, but it’s definitely do-able. If you had started a week ago, where would you be right now? Use that as motivation. It takes two weeks to create a habit, get going.
